1: Sugar 4 cups

2: Water 2 cups

3: Katafai 1 box

4: Almonds 12 

5: Cashews 12

6: Ghee for frying

7: Saffron 1 pinch

8: Cardamom 1/2 teaspoon

The Syrup of Sutarfeni:

To make Sutarfeni, first, add sugar cardamom powder and water in a pot and heat it well. When the syrup starts to boil, let it cook on medium heat for five to seven minutes. After that take out the syrup on a plate and let it cool completely. When the syrup cools, take a small amount of syrup and test it by taking it between your thumb and forefinger. If you are making strings from the syrup, consider the syrup as ready.

The Recipe of Sutarfeni:

1: Take the sutar out of the box and keep it in a bowl and cover it well with a wet cloth.

2: Take a steel sieve and place small pieces of sutarfeni in a round shape.

3: Now add ghee or butter to a frying pan and heat it.

4: Now add sutar to it and fry it. The sutar does not have to be browned, just fry it for a while and then keep the sutar to cool.

5: Now pour the syrup in it with the help of a spoon around the Katafai.

6: Add three to four spoonfuls of syrup to about a foot to make it taste good.

7: If you like it sweet, you can add more syrup.

8: Our final task is to add almonds, pistachios, cashews, or any dry fruits of your choice and serve them to your loved ones.
