1: First in a large pan take 1/2 cup milk 1 cup sugar 1/4 Cup corn flour and 1/4 Cup oil.

2: Make sure to reduce the flame and still continuously without forming any lumps.

3: After 5 minutes the mixture starts to thicken and turns into a paste consistency.

4: Add 1/4 teaspoon Orange food color and one teaspoon oil.

5: Mix well keeping the flame on medium.

6: The mixture will form a lump that separates from the pan.

7: Also add 1.4 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.

8: Mix until the mixture becomes shiny. If it is not getting shiny add a teaspoon more oil.

9: Transfer a little of the mahim halwa mixture onto butter paper. Make sure to grease the butter paper with oil to prevent sticking.

10: Place another Grace butter paper sheet on top and spread the mixture gently with your hands.

11: Spread as thick as desired using a rolling pin.

12: Peel the butter paper and sprinkle some chopped Almonds and pistachios.

13: Place the same butter paper again and press gently to ensure that the dry fruit sticks to the Mahim halwa.

14: Let the mixture cool for 2 hours to refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes.

15: Now cut my malwa into square pieces once it is completely set.

16: Now Bombay Mahim Halwa or Ice Halwa is ready to store in the refrigerator for a week.
